To set up a Hudson Valley Internet dial-up connection on your Windows XP computer, follow these instructions:
Click on: |
Open the Control Panel:

In the Control Panel:
Make sure you're in Classic View not Category View
Select Network Connections

Select "Create a new connection" under "Network Tasks"

Choose New Connection Wizard:

When the New Connection Wizard appears, click "Next"
 |
Select "Connect to the Internet", then click "Next"
 |
Select "Set up my connection manually", then click "Next" |
Select "Connect using a dial-up modem", then click "Next"
|
Type a name for your connection, such as "HVI", then click "Next"
|
Type the local dial-up access number, then click "Next"

If your username is 'superman', enter it as superman@hvi.net,
enter your password, then confirm your password, then click "Next"
|
Click "Finish" and you're done!  |
